I am going after my partner not the person they were with. One reason is because I wouldn’t want the 3rd person to know how upset I was. That is just too much gratification to hand out and besides that I may not even know if the other person knew about me (I didn’t know about them).

well if you know the other and they know you are w/ this person then take it out on both your lover and that person. if the other doesnt know just your lover. i wouldnt worry to much about yourself, you shouldnt have to force yourself to change or do things that dont come naturally. you will find some one who loves your pros and cons all the same.

No one. You are not entirely to blame… if at all… and your “partner” isn’t entirely to blame either… at least in most cases. If you take it out on yourself your own self worth goes down. However if you take it out on them… you are not acting like the bigger person… which you are…. and then your self worth also goes down. My vote is that you act like an adult… even if it is painful… and walk away.

My other half. They could have lied to the other person to get them to be with my cheater.
Problem with cheaters is that they are very good talkers and will try to convince you to take them back. They will say:
I will never do this again.
It was a one time thing.
I love you more than anyone else.
You are the only one for me.
I was drunk.
I was high.
If you hear any of these lies, run.
